Arun Govil criticizes the makers of Adipurush for using controversial tactics and manipulating the public. The Ramayana-inspired movie Adipursh, directed by Om Raut and Manoj Muntashir, has drawn harsh criticism from actor Arun Govil, who is still known as Lord Ram. There are already calls for the film to be banned, and the creators have even received death threats.

The renowned actor criticized the movie, saying that if the filmmakers had the right intentions, the audience would have sensed it. Arun Govil claims that if the movie had been done with the appropriate intentions, it would have reached the audience. Govil recalled an event during his time as Ram on screen, saying that while filming, he was sitting in his shorts and t-shirt despite having done his hair and makeup. Arun Govil, also known as the original Lord Ram, recalls a moment when a distraught woman dropped her ailing kid at his feet. When a lady arrived asking for Lord Ram, the crew directed her to him. She was carrying a tiny child, and while sobbing, she dropped the infant at his feet, pleading with him to heal him. Arun, taken aback, asked the lady to take the youngster to the hospital and prayed for his health. The mother then took the actor's hand in her own and placed it on the child's brow. Three days later, the woman returned to the sets, and her child was strolling alongside her, hale and hearty. It all happened due of everyone's faith in Lord Ram, and this is the kind of faith required for making religious films, according to Govil. What are your thoughts?
